International Conference on Teachers' Development in Cyprus
The project Differentitaion of Instruction for Teacher Professional Development and students' Success (DiDeSu) invites international experts for a conference in Nicosia, Cyprus, to discuss options and strategies for effective differentiation of instruction in cotemporary classrooms. The aim is to link scientific research and pracical implementation considering and comparing various strategies and approaches from all over the world that could help not only in the application of differentiation but also in teacher professional development, learning and support towards sustainable inclusion if differentiation in everyday practices.
The conference is organised in the framework of the EU-funded DiDeSu project which aims to support teachers acquiring necessary skills and knowledge how to apply differentiated instruction in mixed ability classrooms so the needs of all students are responded. The project is coordinated by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute and its partners from the "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, Romania, Universitario de Cartuja, Granada, Spain and the Educational Research Institute of Slovenia.
If you would like to contribute your expertise, there is still time left to submit papers (deadline is the 31st of March) and share your knowledge and experiences at the conference.
